THE UKRAINIAN PROFESSIONAL KICKBOXING FEDERATION «FPKU K1» IS ELEVATING UKRAINIAN KICKBOXING TO A NEW LEVEL OF INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Oleksii Anatoliiovych Maznychenko has returned as President of the Ukrainian Professional Kickboxing Federation. Alongside his return, the federation has announced the launch of a new phase in the development of professional kickboxing in Ukraine.
This initiative includes a complete restructuring of the organization, the introduction of a new series of professional tournaments, and the creation of a modern athlete development system designed to prepare fighters for the international stage.
According to Oleksii Maznychenko, the federation's focus will extend beyond organizing competitions to building a comprehensive ecosystem for the growth of professional fighters.
“Professional kickboxing needs a new system today. We want to create an environment where athletes can grow, gain media exposure, develop experience, and have a real opportunity to represent their country internationally,” said Oleksii Maznychenko.
One of the federation’s key priorities will be cooperation with Olympia, an international promotion founded by Oleksii Maznychenko as a new global platform for the development of team-based professional kickboxing.
Olympia is a next-generation international professional league built around a unique team-based competition format, where countries are represented by their national teams and the outcome of each fight contributes to the overall result of the team matchup. The first international Olympia tournament will take place on July 25, 2026, in Bali, Indonesia.
Tournaments organized by the Ukrainian Professional Kickboxing Federation will serve as the official qualification pathway for athletes seeking selection to the Ukrainian National Team, which will represent the country at international Olympia events.
“Our goal is to create a clear and effective development system for Ukrainian fighters. National tournaments should serve as a platform where athletes can prove themselves, earn a place on the Ukrainian National Team, and gain the opportunity to compete internationally as part of their country’s squad,” emphasized Federation President Oleksii Maznychenko.
As part of its renewal strategy, the federation also plans to:
  • Launch a new tournament structure;
  • Expand regional competitions;
  • Establish a national athlete ranking system;
  • Strengthen the media presence of professional kickboxing;
  • Develop international partnerships and knowledge exchange programs.
According to federation representatives, special attention will be given to building a strong Ukrainian national team capable of competing at the highest level within the new team-based kickboxing format.
“We want fans to know the fighters, follow their stories, support their teams, and feel that Ukrainian kickboxing is becoming part of a major international movement,” said Oleksii Maznychenko.
In the near future, the Ukrainian Professional Kickboxing Federation will unveil its updated development strategy and announce the first tournaments of the new season.
