Oleksii Maznichenko, President of the Professional Kickboxing Federation of Ukraine and owner of PT ANNA VISION GROUP, has announced the launch of a new international sports promotion, OLYMPIA, aimed at fundamentally transforming the system of professional kickboxing.
The first OLYMPIA tournament will take place on July 25, 2026, at Kapten I Wayan Dipta Stadium in Gianyar, Bali. This event will serve as the starting point for a new international team-based system in the world of combat sports.
According to
Oleksii Maznichenko, OLYMPIA is not being created as just another tournament brand, but as the foundation of a new sports industry.
In preparation for the inaugural event, the promotion is currently organizing high-level training camps in Northern Bali, bringing together elite athletes and experienced coaches from different countries. These camps are designed to develop international cooperation, raise competitive standards, and prepare participants for the launch of the new era of team kickboxing.
“We want to make kickboxing a team sport. Today, in combat sports, fans mostly support individual fighters. Our goal is to build a system where people support entire teams, national squads, captains, coaches, and their heroes,” said the President of the Professional Kickboxing Federation of Ukraine.
The main concept of Olympia is the creation of international national teams representing their countries. Each athlete competes individually, but the result of every fight brings points to the entire team.
Under the new system, every national team will have a main roster of fighters across weight divisions, a team captain, a coaching staff, and its own training and development system.
A special role in the project belongs to the team captain — the person responsible for strategy, team atmosphere, and the overall result of the national squad.
“This is no longer just individual fights. It is a team game where strategy, leadership, psychology, and interaction inside the team matter. We want kickboxing to gain the same emotional depth that football and other major team sports have today,”
Oleksii Maznichenko emphasized.
The first international Olympia matchup will feature the national teams of Ukraine and Indonesia. Organizers also stress that the project is aimed at developing sports diplomacy and strengthening international relations through sport.
Olympia events are expected to involve representatives from sports, business, government institutions, and international partners.
“We are building not only tournaments. We are creating a new international platform that unites countries, athletes, and audiences through sport, media, and the shared idea of team rivalry,” said
Oleksii Maznichenko.
In the future, Olympia plans to develop an international ranking system for national teams, expand the geography of tournaments, and create a complete global ecosystem for team kickboxing.
